  23. After the phenominal success of their previous sale, the <a href="http://www.furry.demon.co.uk/kickstart/index.html">Kickstart User Group</a>, based in Ottershaw, Surrey have announced the date for their second Kickstart Amiga Show.<br><br>

  29. Amiga International are officially supporting this year's show, 
  30. and Petro Tyschtschenko has kindly donated a complete A1200 Magic 
  31. Pack along with an assortment of Amiga goodies (stickers, badges, 
  32. mice, mouse mats etc.) all of which will be given away to show goers 
  33. throughout the day.

  35. The show will consist of a sale of Amiga hardware and software, 
  36. games competitions throughout the day, demonstrations of Amiga applications
  37. and new hardware and the opportunity to join the Kickstart User Group.
  38. In all it's a great day out where you can have fun, get help with your
  39. Amiga problems and meet other Amiga users.<br><br>
  40. <strong>What's on at the show:</strong><br><br>
  41. The second Kickstart Show will be bursting with even more Amiga
  42. activities than last year, showing both Amiga owners and their friends
  43. exactly what Amiga can REALLY do:<br><br>
  44.  
  45. <strong>Stands:</strong> 18 stands selling new and second-user Amiga software and
  46. hardware. Refreshments will also be on sale and a Kickstart membership
  47. stand will also be on hand to answer questions and handle membership
  48. enquiries from show-goers.<br><br>
  49.  
  50. <strong>Competitions:</strong> Amiga International are supporting the show by offering a
  51. complete A1200 Magic Pack (worth #200) for the grand draw, which each
  52. show-goer is automatically entered into. There will also be various
  53. Amiga give-aways throughout the day and great prizes for the various
  54. gaming contests planned.<br><br>
  55.  
  56. <strong>Games:</strong> Three gaming competitions are planned: A multiplayer Doom
  57. tournament (with as many as five simultaneous players in each game), A
  58. Sensible Soccer tournament and a Skidmarks contest (with as many as
  59. eight simultaneous players in each game).<br><br>
  60.  
  61. <strong>Demonstrations:</strong> Kickstart members will be on hand to demonstrate various
  62. applications, such as Mac emulation under Fusion, PC Emulation under PCX
  63. and Amiga emulation using Amiga Forever. Also on show will be new
  64. hardware innovations, such as the AteoBus busboard and Pixel64 graphics
  65. card and various A1200 & A600 tower conversions.<br><br>

  67. <strong>Magazine launch:</strong> Being unveiled at the Kickstart Show will be the first
  68. issue of the new monthly Kickstart magazine Amiga Insight. This
  69. magazine, produced totally by club members on Amiga hardware, will have
  70. a monthly mix of news, product reviews, tutorials and informed debate
  71. about the latest Amiga topics - indeed everything from the fate of OS3.5
  72. to why 880K floppy disks should be killed off!<br><br>

  79. next roundabout take the first left onto the A320 to Woking, at the next
  80. roundabout take a left again into Murray Rd, about 20yds on the left is
  81. a car park, park here and Brook Hall is straight in front of you, on the
  82. corner of Murray Rd and Brox Rd.
